Tion Wayne Ft Afro B - Bae Evaluation 

The aim of our music video was to entertain the audience by recreating a story behind the lyrics of the song 'Tion Wayne Ft Afro B - Bae '. 

The target audience for this video are teenage boys who aspire to live the lifestyle that Tion Wayne and Afro B live but also teenage girls who aspire to have a boyfriend who appreciates them and does a lot to make them happy. Whilst watching this, the audience were suppose to watch how both artists love and appreciate their girlfriends by having an insight on their lifestyle. I think we achieved the aim of our video as we had many shots of both couples where the artists were showing affection to their girlfriends. 

Our original idea was to show both couples at various locations living their life such as restaurants and at theme parks or funfairs although, we didn't have a lot of time to do so, so we chose one location in which we would change the scenes and make them different which was Canary Wharf. 

We had many strengths as well as weaknesses. Our strengths as a group are that we were very organised when it came to doing our pre - production as we divided them equally and did the task for the deadline so we could have more time to film. we were able to agree on what we wanted the outcome of our video to be. We also agreed on which characters to use that suited our video. The most important thing about our group was that when we were shooting we were able go improvise scenes when we weren't sure what else to add in, which gave us a range of different scenes to put together to create our video.  

However, some of our weaknesses were that some of our group members were unreliable and didn't take part as much as others. Another thing is that we didnt include alot of scenes were the artists were lip syncing and instead we made sure there was a story behind the lyrics as we lost some of our footage. 

When we first started filming, we weren't always happy with the footage that we got and we felt like we had to upgrade the quality of the video such ad location and appearance so it could suit the song and we did so. Our group and our actors cooperated well so we were able to get the video shot easily. We brought a speaker so we could play the song in the background whilst the artists lip sync to make it easier.  We made a few mistakes although were would quickly resolve any issues we had. 

Whilst editing, we were able to quickly establish which scenes should go where as we had shots that we of the location around us to give the audience to establish the setting to the audience. We all got the chance to edit and input our ideas into how the video should look. We made it easier by firstly adding the track so that we could place the visuals onto it where it fits so it could make sense. 

our audience feedback was very good. the audience liked how the visuals related to the lyrics and they also liked the choice of location. things we could improve on were to use less transitions as we included too much and to include a fair amount of lip syncing. 

Overall, we had a good time shooting our video and i am very happy with our product.

WEDNESDAY 3RD MAY
We have decided to do a music video to the song - Tion Wayne Ft Afro B - Bae with our own interpretation of the song. we have also picked out 3 songs which we think are similar in telling the story we want to tell and we can get ideas from on how to film our video.




THURSDAY 4TH MAY
we were able to start the story board and begin the shot list. WE have completed the Props/costume/makeup list and we have printed out the lyrics for the main actors that need it and are in the middle of annotating it with information the actors may need to be aware of whilst matching the shots with the lyrics.

today we split the roles between our group

we completed the storyboard, the shot list and the risk assessment. we need to finish the rest of the tasks so we can start filming on Monday.
